IB Parent/Student Complaint Policy

The International Baccalaureate (IB) requires all World Schools to maintain a transparent policy for addressing concerns, ensuring that the integrity of the programme is upheld through fairness and open dialogue. At Washington High School, we view this process as an essential part of our commitment to social justice.

We envision a transformational experience for all students where agency, identity, and belonging are at the forefront. Therefore, our resolution process is designed to deepen connections within our community rather than create barriers. By fostering clear and respectful communication between families and educators, we ensure all students remain academically, socially, and emotionally prepared for a successful transition to life after high school.

To ensure concerns regarding curriculum delivery, assessment, or student well-being are handled effectively, we utilize a multi-tiered restorative approach. The policy for the current academic school year can be viewed below.
