The Vision of George Washington High School is to produce an environment in which all students, including students with special needs, strive for excellence, take a responsible role in their education, think critically, function effectively in the community, and participate as productive citizens in a global society.
GWHS MISSION
The mission of GWHS is to provide our learning community with a positive school environment which promotes excellence, knowledge and service. We strive to produce fully literate readers and writers by focusing on continuous assessment of the academic program, providing pertinent professional development, and assuring that the diverse needs of students of all abilities is addressed.
